To fully enable protection, you need to reboot the computer. To enable audit mode type in Set-MpPreference -EnableNetworkProtection AuditMode. To enable using PowerShell, enter Set-MpPreference -EnableNetworkProtection Enabled. Double-click the Prevent Users and Apps from Accessing Dangerous Websites setting and set the option to Enabled. Expand the tree to Windows components > Windows Defender Antivirus > Windows Defender Exploit Guard > Network Protection. In the Group Policy Management Editor go to Computer Configuration, then Policies, then Administrative Templates. It can be enabled either via PowerShell or Group Policy. Network Protection is designed to protect your computer and your network from domains that may host phishing scams, exploits, and other malicious content on the internet.
